Harold Poignant, Jr. - Owner / Operator
Harold is the proprietor of MK Farm Drainage Specialists, L.L.C. He has a variety of responsibilities that include customer relations, job design, and operation of the heavy equipment. He oversees every job, from design phases to the final foot of tile installation. When he’s not working, Harold loves spending time at home with his wife, Jeni, and their two girls, Madison and Kendall.
Matt Mangold - Plow Operator / Driver
Matt has been working alongside Harold since 2013. He does a little bit of everything for the company, from management of field crews to work alongside excavator operators performing tile connections. Matt’s greatest responsibility is that of installation and oversight of tile connections in the field. He takes great pride in what he does.
Shane Wilcoxson - Operator / Mechanic
Almost every foot of tile that runs through the tile plow Shane strings off with a custom-built stringer truck. The truck is designed specifically to meet our fast-paced operations system. If there are ever any breakdowns or general maintenance to be performed, Shane is the guy to get things running at peak performance again!
Adam Jones - operator / laborer
Adam has been with MK since the Summer of 2018 and functions as an integral team member in the field. Most days are spent making tile connections and backfilling using a skid steer and other heavy equipment. Adam’s enthusiasm and attitude while on the job is unrivaled by most, making him one of the most important members of the crew.
Ryan Schalk - Laborer / Driver - CDL
Ryan functions as an integral part of the team, stringing tile alongside Harold in the plow, executing site preparation, handling of dual wall pipe during trenching projects, and delivering tile and transporting heavy equipment from job to job. The team would not operate as efficiently as it does without Ryan’s contributions.
Beau Jensen - Sales / Plow operator
Beau is a farmer at heart, giving him a thorough understanding of the value of farm drainage. Additionally, Beau’s aptitude behind the wheel of a machine (or drone, on occasion) gives him a leg up when assessing the value of drainage on one of his farms or the farms of his neighbors. Beau’s relatable demeanor and knowledge make him a go-to guy for customers and team members, alike.
